The
Children's
Center,
Inc.
offers a
comprehensive
child
care
program
year
round
for
children
ages 6
weeks
through
12
years.
The
center
is open
from
7:00
a.m. to
6:00
p.m.,
Monday -
Friday,
and is
open
during
school
breaks
excluding
New
Year's
Day,
Memorial
Day,
Independence
Day,
Labor
Day, and
Thanksgiving
Day,
Christmas
Eve and
Christmas
Day .
We
firmly
believe
that
children
learn
and
develop
through
play.
Our
equipment
is
carefully
designed
to
provide
for both
large
and fine
motor
development
and to
encourage
imagination
and
creativity.
Children
are
given
the
opportunity
to make
choices
and age
appropriate
decisions
as they
move
about in
a wide
variety
of
centers.

Daily
activities
include
free-choice
time
(most of
the day
the
children
choose
to
explore
the
carefully
prepared
learning
centers
such as
science
& art,
dramatic
play,
music
center,
discovery
table,
manipulatives,
etc -
all are
arranged
according
to the
learning
theme
for the
week),
small
group
discussion
time,
mid-morning
and
mid-afternoon
snacks ,
hot
lunch,
and
outdoor
play.
